Welcome to ticker-dev :-)

I'd like to again thank everyone for their contributions last week and to
especially thank Michael Henderson for all the work that brought it
together.

To help kick off this list ... I was asked to contribute some thoughts
about a couple of extra fields in tickertape notifications and I thought I
might begin with that.

'X-no-archive' ...

I'd like the spec to have a optional field that acts to tell programs that
log tickertape messages not to archive the particular message. Many mailing
lists support an X-no-archive field and I think we should adopt it. There
is no enforcement other than ethical.

'Distribution'

I think that it would be desirable to have a field that acts a hint for
distribution across federations. Possible values might include: { local,
organization, world, secure, classified } etc. This is badly thought out at
the moment but I was hoping that by raising it others might have
suggestions ...
